Life in the south is wonderful. Full of sweet tea, southern accents, laughter, and comfort. I would say Columbia since that’s where I am, but Charleston’s by the beach. Everything down here is taken at a slower pace with a generous amount of hugs.

I noticed you have no stops planned in Iowa. I imagine you’ll HAVE to go through it at some point to reach other spots in the Midwest. Iowa is beautiful, and people are so so nice. I’m no longer there, but would recommend stopping in my hometown, Iowa City. Eat at the Hamburg Inn. Yum.

@Elizabeth – I don’t care for BBQ very much. Maybe you can change my mind? The hugs, however, are an awesome idea.
